Seminar on Technical Challenges of Extra Long Tunnel Projects in the Future

Nine world-renowned experts, six academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and eight tunnel and underground engineering experts from China, are invited to attend this session for communication and discussion. Some major issues concerning the topic will be discussed in detail, for instance, the key construction techniques and challenges of extra long tunnel projects, catastrophe mechanism and control of karst tunnels, technical challenges and Scientific response of High energy geological environment in Deep Long Tunnels, etc. The Ten Issues of tunnel and underground engineering will be released at the meeting.
